Country living found me later in life, and I fell for it completely: the chickens, the sourdough starter with a name, the garden, and the deep satisfaction of making something useful out of whatever’s already on hand. I’m still learning most days, and honestly, that’s half the fun. Around here it’s all about using what you’ve got, growing what you can, and making a life you love, right where you are.
